The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, demons, and sinister influences growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team understands precisely where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then settled his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
